Great Things Come in Small Packages!

Leveraging Those Little Lead Generation Business Cards

by Julie Escobar

Ever hear that saying, “Great things come in small packages?”  That sure is the case with the lead generation business cards found in your dashboard for every GLS listing you activate.  These fully-templated, ready-to-print tools are proving to be quite the rock star for many agents who are including them in their listing presentation! They are printing out examples of them from other listings as well as a just listed card and infobox flyer as a means to show that they are ready, willing and able to get started marketing the property right away.   With a firm, “Mr. and Mrs. Seller, I can have your business cards, and flyers ready to drop off as early as this afternoon if you’re ready to get started marketing your home.  How does that sound? (I do love a good assumptive close don’t you?)

We’re getting call after call from agents who have expressed that they are game-changers during their presentations and their sellers are loving the ability to be a pro-active part of the process.

If you’re not using your Lead Generation Business Cards yet, let me share a few reasons why these little cards can help you get BIG results when marketing your listing.

I’ve always said, one of the best things you can do to get your listing sold faster, with less headaches and for more money is to make sure your sellers are on board as part of the sales team!  Right from the beginning, it’s important to make them feel part of the solution in terms of getting the results they really want.  Most agents start this process by getting the sellers to buy in on things like pricing the property properly and ensuring that the house is ready to  be shown, and has the right curb appeal, but for many agents – the “team” part of the process stops there.

If you REALLY want to get the homes sold faster – bring them with you every step of the way.  From ensuring that the InfoBox flyer box is stuffed to handing out the Lead Generation Business Card!

Easy to create, inexpensive to produce but big on results – drop these off with your sellers when you take them their InfoBox flyers!

Here’s why: Whenever ANYONE is selling their home, invariably they are asked by their friends, family, acquaintances and co-workers how much the home is going for, how many bedrooms, what area, etc.  The front side of the lead generation cards makes it easy for your sellers to answer that AND provide those curious people with the link to your online house tour to view all the photos of the listing, get more information, request a showing and oh yeah – CALL YOU!  The reverse is all of your contact information so potential buyers (and seller) can call or email you (or use their smartphone now to access the online property tour via the new QR Code) regarding this listing or ANY of their real estate questions or needs.

Explain to your sellers how vital it is to have them on the “team” but you recognize how busy they are during this hectic time so you’ve created these handy cards to make information sharing as simple and quick for them as possible.  Let them know that they’re great to share at the office, networking events, the kid’s football practices or cheer events, or wherever they might get asked about the sale of their home and that of course, should they run out you’ll be happy to supply more!

If you’re having trouble printing them or unsure what to do – check the download section of your member dashboard for the Printing Business Cards and Postcards pdf.  It’s a step-by-step how to guide!
